Boeing has started 2026 ahead of Airbus in both deliveries and new orders. In the first five weeks of the year, Boeing delivered 46 aircraft, while Airbus recorded 19 deliveries in the same period.
In January alone, Boeing secured a total of 107 new orders, marking its strongest January performance since 2012. Airbus, on the other hand, received 49 new orders during the same period, all of which were for narrow-body aircraft.
According to order details, Boeing received:
30 Boeing 787-10s from Delta Air Lines
50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft from Aviation Capital Group
20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft from Air India
4 Boeing 787s from EVA Air
Driven particularly by rising demand for the 787 Dreamliner family, Boeing has strengthened its market position in the wide-body segment. Since the beginning of 2025, total orders for 787 models have exceeded 400 units, with ongoing improvements in production processes continuing to reflect positively on operational performance.
